Dr Marilyn Kimeu

Biography

Marilyn is a Partner in McKinsey’s Nairobi office and is part of our healthcare practice in Africa. She has led programs on health system strengthening in manufacturing and supply chain, digital health transformations, health financing and go to market strategies for various products across Rwanda, Nigeria, Kenya, Ethiopia and South Africa. She has also led in emergency preparedness topics, including setting up emergency operations center, emergency supply chains, and ensuring continuity of essential services including vaccines, across Africa. She has recently been supporting various ministries of health in Africa with their COVID-19 response.

She has a deep understanding of
1. Public health systems in Sub-Saharan Africa;
2. The social sector having worked extensively with BMGF,DFID and USAID leading heath-systems strengthening projects
3. Strengthening private sector to expand health service delivery.
