Biography

Jimmy Odhiambo is an Industrial Development Expert with over two (2) decades of experience in strategic leadership, policy development, and stakeholder engagement within Kenya’s manufacturing sector. He has a track record in driving sectoral growth through implementation of national and regional strategies, facilitating investment, and enhancing business environment. He is also adept at coordinating large-scale projects, managing research and development initiatives, and providing mentorship to entrepreneurs. Currently, Jimmy is the Ag. Chief Executive Officer at Kenya Leather Development Council (KLDC) and the Chair of East African Community Leather and Leather Products Platform. He holds a Master of Arts Degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics, among other Professional Certifications
