Currently serving as Principal Secretary in the State Department for Mining under the Ministry of Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs, Mr. Kimtai represents a unique blend of reform-oriented public sector leadership and investment-driven policy execution.

Drawing on his cross-sectoral leadership experience across the livestock, health, and mining sectors, Mr. Kimtai has supported livestock and rural economic value chains through coordinated policy frameworks that promote productivity, sustainability, and inclusive growth.
