COMESA Investment Forum (CIF 2026), aims to showcase investment opportunities in COMESA Member States and foster partnerships between investors and Kenyan stakeholders to enhance intra-regional trade and investment.
Objectives:
Promote regional integration among COMESA Member States through increased FDI.
Create awareness about investment opportunities offered by National Investment Promotion Agencies (NIPAs).
Create platform for investors and government to close deals.
Build the capacity of NIPAs on investment promotion and attraction best practices

Background:
Organised inaugural COMESA Investment Forum (CIF) in collaboration with the Tunisian Ministry of Economy and Planning and the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) in June 2024
Outcome:
Over 350 participants including ministers, business leaders, investors, CEOs and heads of COMESA NIPAs
Facilitated over 500 matchmaking engagements in targeted sectors including Agriculture and Food Processing, Energy, Industry, ICT and Services
Received positive Media and PR coverage in global media outlets
Bilateral meetings between COMESA Executive Management and high-level officials in the Tunisian Government
