Biography

Mr. Justine Abuga is an award winning social impact entrepreneur. He is the C.E.O and Founder of Ecobora Company (www.ecobora.co.), the first green energy company that is democratizing solar institutional cooking in Africa. Mr. Abuga is using green energy as a catalyst for poverty alleviation. His mission is to leverage the power of solar energy, Internet Of Things and Artificial Intelligence to build resilient and empowered communities that can thrive. Due to his impact- vested work, Mr. Abuga has received several awards and prizes including Africa’s most innovative solar award by AFSIA in 2023 and a runners up of Energy management Award(EMA) 2025 awarded by the first lady of Kenya.

He has 12 years’ experience working in the green energy space and he is a believer in status quo disruption using innovation, technology and sustainability
