Noreen Kidunduhu brings social and inclusion perspective to Kenya’s mining sector, highlighting how responsible mining development must ensure equitable participation and benefit-sharing. Through her work with AWEIK, she advocates for greater participation of women and local communities across the mining value chain, from artisanal mining to corporate leadership.
Her perspective will be relevant in discussing how Kenya can develop inclusive policies and safeguards that ensure mining investment contributes to community development, gender equity, and broader social benefits.
